What Is Peace? 10 Ways To Achieve Peace

Peace and Hatred are the two main concepts that have been existed since the beginning of humankind. We use the word 'Peace' in our prayers, greetings, and wishes, but we see no practical implementation of this word; rather, there is chaos and destruction all over.

May it be a house, neighborhood, country, or the whole world every being peace talks but makes no effort to implement it. Talking about peace and spilling blood, it is done only by humans. We want to live in peace, but we also want to win peace by war.

We have made plans to ensure peace, we have made agreements to ensure peace, and we also have done social work to create an environment of harmony but all in vain.

So, where could the issue possibly be?

How are we not able to achieve true peace?

Where are the lags in our efforts?

The answer to these questions is ourselves. We try to change the city, country, or the world as a whole. Our approach to creating a peaceful environment is by forcing it we want to change the whole world into a peaceful community by hook or crook.

This method creates resistance in people; although our intention is for good somehow or the other, it is developing hatred amongst nations. Where there's light, there's always be a shadow following it; as long as we have winners, losers will continue to exist, the yearn to maintain peace gives birth to wars, and abhorrence is born to protect love.

So how can we solve this?

"True peace lies within, "This statement explains it all rather than forcing peace, we should be focusing on ourselves. We cannot change the world as a whole, but we can rectify ourselves. We cannot force others to follow in our footsteps to achieve peace, but we can change ourselves so that others follow us to change ourselves. "Charity begins at home."

When we love something, we take care of it with all that we've got. We must learn to bear hatred, anger and keep our attitude and ego aside to maintain peace.

So rather than forcing it over others, we should bring about a change in ourselves first. Ourselves should become a walking and talking existence of peace. People should follow in our footsteps to achieve peace rather than us forcing them to do so.

1. Stop Expecting

We should stop expecting people to change themselves or to do their job. Instead, we should focus on changing ourselves for the betterment of the world.

2. Be Patient

Patience is the key to living a peaceful life. Patience keeps your mind relaxed so you can think about solving problems more efficiently.

3. Tolerance

Tolerance often lets people change their views about you. If you become tolerant and think while being in someone else's shoes, then you might be able to overcome the anger within you.

4. Be Responsible

You can surely achieve true peace by being responsible for your deeds rather than blaming others.

5. Quit Discrimination

It would be best not to discriminate against people based on their skin, creed, or gender. Let people live their lives as per their wishes.

6. Social Media Inspiration

Social media is familiar amongst the new generation. People tend to follow in others' footsteps rather than make their way. People get inspired by luxurious life and desire why they don't have such a lifestyle which gets them more depressed.

7. Be Natural

By being natural, I mean that give your time to nature. Learn how things in this world work. The closer you become to nature, the more you value life.

8. Constant Meditation

Try meditating twice or thrice a week to relax your mind. Out of all the work, you should spend some time with yourself, so you may be able to think about your past experiences and release all the negativity in your mind.

9. Hang Around With Positive-minded People

“A man is known by the company he keeps,” this statement says it all. If you spend your time with positive-minded people, your thinking and approaches become positive and vice versa.

10. Make Some Time For Yourself

It isn't hard to make just 30 min out of 24 hours for yourself. Stay alone and think about how you've been doing all this time. Make goals and give your level best effort to get them.
